Role: IT Project Manager  

Role Description: The IT Project Manager would need to have at least 8+ years of experience. This ideal Candidate will have either a background in database administration or infrastructure management or both and some amount of project experience - not necessarily in a formal PM role but candidates that have worked through large infrastructure projects in a leadership role are acceptable.

Top 3 - 5 Daily Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the daily activities of the various infrastructure and database teams.

- Ensure that work is continuing per the project plan.

- Create weekly status reports and executive summaries as required.

- Maintain the project budget.

- Be the technical liaison to the project areas.

- Ability to successfully manage escalations appropriately.

Top 3 - 5 Required Skills:

- Database admin or SQL experience is needed.

- Infrastructure knowledge - servers, capacity, and contingency planning.

- Project leadership experience.

- Leadership role in a database upgrade project.

Desired Skills:

- Technical Project Management is a plus.

- Experience with Teradata is a plus.

- Previous experience at Client is a plus.

- MS-Project experience.

- Previous budget experience is a plus.

Soft Skills:

- Facilitation.

- Conflict Management.

- Negotiation.

- Excellent communication skills - written and oral.

- Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required
